Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn, and sadly, it is often the animals who suffer the most. This is Rex—a beautiful four-year-old Labrador–Border Collie cross who is looking for a new family to give him the love, stability and care he deserves.
Rex is a wonderful, affectionate and incredibly gentle dog who loves people and is especially good with children. He has a lovely nature and enjoys being part of family life. He gets along well with most other dogs, but he is not suitable for a home with cats.
Rex is vaccinated and microchipped. He is not castrated.
Just a short time ago, we believed we had found Rex his forever home. Sadly, circumstances have changed and his new family can no longer keep him. His previous owner is also facing a difficult medical situation and is now caring for her mother following major surgery, making it impossible for her to continue looking after Rex.
Rex does not understand why his world has changed again. He only knows that he needs someone to love him, guide him and provide the security and companionship that every dog deserves.
Rex is a well-mannered dog who can stay alone and knows his basic commands. Like all active dogs, he needs regular walks, exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and fulfilled.
At four years old, Rex still has so much love, energy and companionship to offer. He is friendly, affectionate and gentle, enjoys the company of people, loves children and would make a wonderful addition to the right family. He would be happiest with someone who can provide him with the attention, exercise and stability he needs.
Rex urgently needs a loving home. Without one, he risks ending up in a shelter, which would be heartbreaking for such a gentle and loving companion.
