Leon is a magnificent, gentle giant. He was rescued by Phoenix from the streets of Issigeac where he live outside his whole life. When he was rescued he was severely ill with Calicivirus and the vets thought he would not survive. Phoenix facilitated his surgery to remove his teeth and with months of care he is now doing really well but needs a wet food diet. Despite testing positive for FIV, he is now a happy house cat and brings joy to the house.
He is a very easy going soul and is always relaxing and purring. He gets on well with other cats and dogs and because he is so gentle, sterilised and has no teeth, there is minimal risk of him transmitting FIV to gentle vaccinated cats.
